Motorola Mobility has just announced the availability of its sleek MOTOKEY XT feature-phone in Chile.

Although the handset's price has yet to be revealed, the manufacturer confirmed that Motorola MOTOKEY XT can now be purchased from major carriers in the country.

The super-sleek handset features a bricklike form factor and offers users the advantages of a comfortable enough full portrait QWERTY keyboard.

In addition, Wi-Fi connection and the 2.4-inch capacitive touchscreen with 262k colors support and 240 x 320 pixels resolution are among the strong points of the handset. At only 9.9mm thickness, Motorola MOTOKEY XT is quite the looker.

Users want access to the mobile Internet, and the new touchscreen Motorola MOTOKEY gives them the flexibility they need. Motorola Mobility is committed to offering handsets at affordable prices with multitasking capabilities, giving our customers access to high-quality voice and data services,” said Fernando Sánchez, general manager, Mobile Devices Motorola Chile.

Even though the phone does not feature any operating systems, it offers a customized user interface with five different home screen styles, several interface themes and SNS integration, including Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networking sites, along with Opera Mobile browser.

All messaging services are supported as well, including SMS, MMS, POP3/SMTP/IMAP, and Push email.

The phone sports a mediocre 3-megapixel camera on the back and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB). With USB 2.0 HS users will be able to quickly transfer audio and video files, without worrying about speed.

Motorola MOTOKEY XT comes with full Bluetooth stereo sound support, as well as stereo radio and 3.5mm jack port. The phone measures 103 x 60mm and weighs 92g (battery included), which makes it perfectly pocketsizable.

According to the manufacturer, the phone's battery should provide users with up to 200 hours of standby time or up to 6 hours of talk time.
