14 DAY TRIAL // Unveiled back in June, Motorola MOTOKEY Mini EX108 has just made its debut in Argentina. Initially launched in Brazi via TIM carrier, along with EX118 and WX294, MOTOKEY Mini EX108 is a basic mobile phone with enhanced messaging features.
In addition, the feature-phone comes with dual-SIM capability and a full portrait QWERTY keyboard that allows users to be more accurate when texting.
MOTOKEY Mini EX108 does not feature a touchscreen, instead it comes with a standard 2-inch display that supports 220 x 176 pixels resolution.
According to Motorola Mobility, the exclusive version of Motorola MOTOKEY Mini EX108 is available in Argentina starting today “through the main retail chains.”
“With cutting edge design and a complete package of multimedia features, Motorola MOTOKEY Mini EX108 reaffirms Motorola’s commitment to launching products to meet the needs of the most diverse user profiles,” said Germán Greco, product marketing director, Motorola Mobility.
Design-wise, the MOTOKEY Mini EX108 features a bar format and strongly resembles Nokia's Eseries of smartphones.
Aside its strong messaging features, such as the QWERTY keyboard and easy to access e-mail feature, the handset is aimed at social network aficionados as well.
With Motorola MOTOKEY Mini EX108 users will be able to quickly access their Twitter, Facebook and Myspace accounts, as the application are all pre-loaded on the phone.
With Threaded View, users can visualize groups and message records on the same screen whenever they want.
Although the MOTOKEY Mini EX108 does not feature a fast data speed connectivity, users will be able to access the Internet via its carriers’ EDGE networks.
Furthermore, the MOTOKEY Mini EX108 offers several multimedia features, including a music player, FM radio with RDS, 3.5mm headset and a sound recorder.
On the back, there's a 2-megapixel digital camera with video recording, playback and image editor, while on left side of the phone there's a microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 2GB memory card included).
