It looks like South America is one of the few places where Motorola continues to launch its affordable feature-phones.

The US-based handset maker has just announced the immediate availability of the Motorola MOTOGO! EX430 feature-phone in Peru.

Even though the company did not reveal the phone’s pricing options, it did mention customers can now purchase the handset though all major carriers across the country.

One of the most affordable Motorola feature-phones available on the market, MOTOGO! EX430 offers a slew of interesting features, which are specifically tailored for texters.

Firstly, the handset comes with a full portrait QWERTY keyboard and a dedicated Google Search button, meant to offer a “smartphone-like experience.”

However, this is not the only Google service the phone offers. According to Motorola, the MOTOGO! EX430 provides access to other Google Mobile services like Gmail, Google Maps, Google Talk, Google+, as well as YouTube.

When it comes to hardware, there’s nothing really impressive to talk about, except maybe the fact that this budget-friendly handset comes with Wi-Fi and HSDPA (7.2 Mbps) support.

Moreover, users will be able to take advantage of the Wi-Fi Hotspot capability, which will allow them to share the phone’s data connection with other devices via Wi-Fi.

In addition, the phone sports a small 2.2-inch display that supports 320 x 240 pixels resolution and 262k colors. There are also 50MB of storage inside, along with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Motorola also mentioned that the MOTOGO! EX430 would be shipped with a free 2GB microSD memory card in the sales package, so customers might want to check this one out with their carriers.

The feature-phone also packs a sub-par 2-megapixel rear camera and a 910 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 350 hours of standby time or up to 5 hours of talk time.

With its easy-to-use keyboard and dedicated Google search button, MOTOGO! EX430 makes it easy to streamline your search and quickly find information that matters to you most. It also comes with a ton of other valuable features and all at an incredible price,” said Alexander Zawadzki, Motorola Mobility´s commercial director for Peru.
