It improves the interaction with heart rate monitors, among other things

Back in February, we wrote about the first Android-powered watch / wearable fitness performance tracker that Motorola had invented and, now, we get to write about it again.

Like any connected device running the Android operating system, MOTOACTV (detailed better right here), as the watch is called, will get updates.

The time has come for one such update, so owners can get ready for a newer and better companion app with Ice Cream Sandwich compatibility, improved pace graphs and better automatic workout syncing.

Also, the core software of the watch will better communicate with heart rate monitors, while enhancing album listings and improved club recommendations, plus scoring on the golf edition.

An update prompt will appear once the MOTOACTV is connected to a PC or Mac. The Google Play Store entry is right here.
