Motorola has just confirmed that it will announce a new Android smartphone on May 13. The launch event will take place in London, UK, next week and the invitations are pretty explanatory when it comes to what kind of device the company plans to reveal.

According to the event’s invitation published by The Next Web, the upcoming Motorola smartphone will be one that everyone can afford. Here is how Motorola teases its next Android device:

“Connect more people to towld’s information and each other, and they can do great things. Introducing the next smartphone from Motorola to make these connections happen. Made to last. Priced for all.”

This sounds like the recently leaked Motorola Moto E, which is supposedly a low- to mid-range Android smartphone that will be launched as Moto G’s successor.

Even if its specs are slightly better, we don’t expect the smartphone to be priced higher than the current budget-friendly Moto G.

The latest reports claim that the mysterious Motorola smartphone to be announced on May 13 will be packed with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4.3-inch (720p) display and 5-megapixel photo snapper, but this has yet to be confirmed. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
