On Tuesday, mobile phone maker Motorola unveiled to the world two new devices, in the form of Moto E and Moto G LTE, and both of them are set to arrive on shelves in Mexico in the not-too-distant future.

Motorola has already confirmed plans to bring the two smartphones to this market, and the company has also announced that they will be accompanied by a third handset, namely the Moto G Ferrari Edition.

The Moto E smartphone went official yesterday as the most affordable handset in Motorola’s current lineup of Android devices and is set to arrive in Mexico at only 2,299 Pesos ($178/€130), as Motorola notes in a blog post.

The smartphone will land on the market with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a qHD (540 x 960 pixels) resolution, with Corning Gorilla Glass.

The handset is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor paired with 1GB of RAM, which should result in pretty decent performance capabilities being delivered to its users.

Moreover, the mobile phone features 4GB of internal memory, as well as a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes. The device has also been announced with a 5-megapixel back camera, as well as with dual-SIM capabilities inside, and with a 1980mAh battery for long usage times.

Moto E runs under the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system right from the start and will be available for purchase in Mexico via the countries four major carriers, Motorola has announced.

In addition to Moto E, however, users in Mexico will also be able to purchase the new Moto G with 4G LTE capabilities in the near future, with a price tag of 3,999 Pesos ($310/€226).

In addition to the said support for LTE networks, the new device also sports a microSD memory card slot, allowing users to add some more storage space to it. It will be released in Black and White variants and will be accompanied by a Motorola Flip Shell case for additional protection.
