Just when I was 99.99% sure the thing about the
RAZR has finally ended, Motorola is launching yet another version of their highly celebrated cellphone, this time making it join the Christmas spirit overwhelming every Christian house around the globe.
The new Motorola KRZR, known as the FIRE or - as the Koreans have tagged it - the MS700 is identical to the other versions of the best sold handset ever made by the American mobile phone manufacturer, the single difference being its obvious hot
glossy
red color covering the phone on its exterior and even being present on the red glowing inside keypad.
Kinda boring isn't it? At least it seems that they came to the right decision and have released it with a color actually having something to do with this time of the year. Maybe
Santa is going to like it and will order a bunch of them for its elves, so Motorola will have a profitable fourth quarter this year. As if they didn't have it already.
Don't get very excited about it though because, as I've already mentioned, there are no new additions to the red specifications sheet of the just launched FIRE, the features present in the former versions of the slim clamshell also appearing on the piece of paper presenting the customers what this Christmas themed cellphone is being capable of.
What you get if you still decide this could be a good replacement for your old and boring phone you have waited to change for so long? One old fashioned 2 megapixel digital camera, one microSD memory expansion card slot to store your favorite
multimedia files and wireless Bluetooth connectivity so you won't have to wander around in the snowy weather with dangling wires around your neck.
And this is what you'll get from Motorola for the winter holidays this year. I wonder what we'll get next year? A green phone with white wide stripes? I don't know yet as you don't either, but oh my god how cool that "with white wide stripes" thingie sounds :). That's all folks!
