Motorola, Inc. has announced today the release of a new Bluetooth headset, the Motorola Endeavor HX1. According to the company, the headset combines the manufacturer’s CrystalTalk noise cancellation technology with a stealth mode that enables users to hear and to be heard even when in noisy environments. It seems that this mode, when activated, allows only for the user's voice to be heard, while other noises are reduced.

“Motorola Endeavor HX1 adds a new level of audio superiority to our industry leading portfolio and is made for people who want the freedom to take hands-free calls despite extreme noise and wind environments,” said Wayne White, corporate vice president, companion products, Motorola Mobile Devices. “Whether you are driving in a convertible, attending a concert or standing on a busy street, Motorola Endeavor allows you to hear and be heard.”

The Bone Conduction Technology included in the Motorola Endeavor is similar to the one used by military forces. Users can activate the stealth mode with the touch of a button, and the bone conduction technology is triggered instantly. According to Motorola, the technology uses an ear sensor and does not rely on an exposed exterior microphone. The sensor is meant to convert the user's vocal vibrations to speech so that the listener hears nothing else but the voice.

Through the use of the Motorola Endeavor, any mobile phone owner would be able to make hands-free calls wherever he/she might be. The CrystalTalk noise cancellation technology the Bluetooth headset comes with is meant to reduce the background noise at all times, while the stealth mode allows users to rest assured that they are heard at any time in any place.

Another feature that the Motorola Endeavor HX1 comes with is the company's Multipoint technology, which allows for multiple devices to be connected. In addition, users will also be able to enjoy up to seven hours of talk time, while the setting up of the headset can be easily done with the help of voice prompts. The new Bluetooth headset is expected to come to the market in Asia in July 2009, but it should come to other markets as well.
