An eco-friendly QWERTY device

Mobile phone maker Motorola has recently made official on its airwaves a new handset, namely the Motorola GRASP, previously spotted into the wild as the WX404. The new device comes to the market with a QWERTY keypad, complemented by eco-friendly features, including a recyclable eco design and more. Moreover, the device was designed so as to offer fast access to contacts, along with threaded messaging, and other features more.

“Motorola GRASP features multimedia options that are sure to keep you entertained between calls. A 1.3MP camera with digital zoom and fixed focus captures random moments as they happen. And with video capture and playback you can also capture movies. For non-stop music lovers, GRASP has a built-in MP3 player and a 3.5 mm headset jack along with Bluetooth wireless capabilities so you can listen to music plugged in or wirelessly. Store all your music and photos directly on the device, with GRASP’s expandable memory of up to 8 GB,” the company notes on this device.

The specifications list of the phone includes support for CDMA 800/1900, AWS 1700/2100, CDMA 1x, EVDO frequencies, a 2.2-inch display that boasts support for 65K colors, a 1.3-megapixel photo snapper with fixed focus and digital zoom, sGPS, Bluetooth 2.1, USB 2.0 port, and a 950 mAH Li-Ion battery that can offer up to 5.3 hours of talk time or up to 17.9 days of standby time, all packed inside a device that measures 2.4 x 3.7 x 0.51 inches and weighs in at 3.7 ounces.

“GRASP is the newest device from Motorola to give back to the environment. Featuring eco design elements, Motorola GRASP is BFR and PCV free with a housing that is 100% recyclable at end of life,” the company states. According to the mobile phone maker, the Motorola GRASP is expected to become available for purchase starting with the third quarter of the ongoing year.
