Another day, another photo of Motorola's upcoming Shadow mobile phone made it into the wild. This time around, however, the image shows the yet-unannounced handset in real life, and comes accompanied by a series of almost confirmed specifications, some of which have been already rumored to be present on the device. For the time being, the info, and the photo's story, remain in the rumor area, but we wouldn't be surprised if they prove real in the end.

The mobile phone in question, which made it into the wild quite a few times before, is headed to the market as Motorola Droid Shadow, at least this is what a recent article on Gizmodo states. The handset reportedly boasts a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, along with an 8-megapixel photo snapper, a Snapdragon processor inside, 16GB of internal memory, and an HDMI slot, and should be the one and the same device as the one in the photo attached to this article.

In case you were wondering how the new info on Droid Shadow emerged, you should know that all the details, the photo included, were provided by a gym employee, who found the device at a Verizon corporate gym in Washington, and managed to take the photo before the phone was remotely locked. Moreover, he also confirmed the specs with the person who came to claim the handset back. History has a way of repeating itself, it seems, as this “left behind” Droid Shadow unit emerges several weeks after an iPhone 4 prototype was spotted into the wild in similar circumstances.

We had the chance to take a look at a photo of what appeared to be the same Motorola device a few days ago, though the specifications of the two are a little different. For what it's worth, we might be looking at a different handset this time, especially since two high-end Android-based Motorola phones have been rumored lately to be headed to the market, namely the DROID 2 and the Shadow. Hopefully, specific details on them will surface shortly, so stay tuned for more on this.
