Motorola plans to expand its business in China, as the company announced quite a high number of devices recently

Although most of these are Android smartphones that are already available in other regions or they will be launched in the near future, it appears that the new Motorola Domino+ is one of the latter.

Motorola Domino+ was recently spotted at FCC (Federal Communications Commission) and is expected to be announced in North America some time in August.

However, it appears that Chinese Android fans will be able to get it first, as the phone is about make its debut in the country for 2,198 yuan (about $341).

Codenamed Motorola XT531, the smartphone is powered by Google's latest Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread platform and is powered by аn 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor.

Furthermore, the handset packs 512 MB of RAM and 512 MB of ROM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

In addition, Motorola Domino+ sports an average 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording capabilities, as well as a secondary front-facing camera for video calls.

The bar phone has a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 16 million colors support and 320 x 480 pixels resolution.

Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as built-in GPS are also among the usual features of the Motorola Domino+.

When it comes to design, the Domino+ is quite a looker with its back made of white glossy plastic and a piano-like finish.

Also, the phone's pebble-like form factor make the phone even more appealing and comfortable to handle.

It appears that the Motorola Domino+ was filed under model number XT530 / XT531, which means that there will be two variants launched on the market.

The XT531 model is most likely limited to China, while the XT530 version will probably be announced soon in other regions, including United States.
