Including the KRZR K3, RIZR Z6 and Z8 and the SLVR L9

Motorola has officially and finally announced their latest slim handsets, the KRZR K3, RIZR Z6 and Z8 and the SLVR L9 today at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona.

The KRZR K3 is a 3G version of the original KRZR that follows Motorola's iconic MOTOKRZR design while at the same time providing the possibility of video calling, thus allowing the users to share their mobile experience. The secondary camera is VGA and enabled real-time video calls between users, while the main camera is a 2 megapixel one with 8 x digital zoom.

The handset also comes equipped with Bluetooth and USB 2.0 for connectivity, 64MB internal memory and a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion. It will be available in the first quarter of the year.

The MOTORIZR Z6, that according to the manufacturer is a "multimedia masterpiece" is meant to combine more advanced music features with the slim metallic slider design some people like so much. The handset is the first to be Linux-Java software based, incorporating Windows Media technology that allows users to sync music to their phone from over 200 music stores worldwide. It includes a dedicated music key, an integrated music player with support for several file formats and Bluetooth for connectivity.

The MOTORIZR Z8, also a slider phone comes with HSPDA support for high-speed connectivity, a 16 million color screen with a QVGA resolution, up to 30fps video playback capabilities, 90MB internal memory and a MicroSD card slot that allows up to 4GB extra space. The handset also features Bluetooth for connectivity with stereo headset support, a built-in music player and a 2 megapixel camera with a dedicated side key. Expect to see this one in stores from April.

Last but not least, the MOTOSLVR L9 comes with an integrated music player, FM Radio, Motorola's new CrystalTalk technology for talking in noisy environments, Bluetooth for connectivity, a 2 megapixel camera with 8x zoom and video recording capabilities and a MicroSD card slot supporting up to 2GB memory cards. The handset will start shipping during the second quarter of the year.
