It looks like Motorola is not focusing only on its newest devices, as the company announced its return in Ecuador with a portfolio of old phones.

Although Motorola fans living in Ecuador did not have the chance to get one of the maker's handsets for quite a while now, it appears that starting this month they will be able to purchase some of Motorola's older handsets.

According to Motorola, the company will offer Ecuadorians an “innovative range of products”, including the ATRIX, DEFY, MOTOKEY MINI and SCREEN MINI handsets.

There are no details on the phones' release date or price options, but we can safely assume that all four will arrive in stores by the end of the year.

We trust that Motorola Mobility will delight the Ecuadorian market, accomplishing an important place in the national consumer’s minds,” said Alexander Zawadzky, commercial director for Perú and Ecuador, Motorola Mobility.

While Motorola ATRIX and DEFY are old news, the MOTOKEY MINI and SCREEN MINI have been launched last summer.

Motorola MOTOKEY MINI has a standard bar form factor and comes with strong messaging features. The handset is aimed at social network aficionados and offers quick access to Twitter, Facebook, Orkut and MySpace.

It comes with a 2-inch display, a portrait QWERTY keyboard, a 2-megapixel camera, a music player and FM radio with RDS function.

In addition, Motorola MOTOKEY MINI embeds a microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB) and a free 2GB memory card in the sales package.

Motorola SCREEN MINI targets people who want to stay in touch with their friends and families via social network services.

In this regard, the feature-phone allows users to access and integrate their social networking accounts, such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter and see any important information and notifications on a secondary notification screen.

The phone has a main 2.8-inch touchscreen display, a 2-megapixel camera, music player and FM radio function.
