Today is the big day for enthusiasts eagerly waiting for the Android-based Motorola DROID RAZR to arrive on shelves at Verizon Wireless, and special promotions for them have already started to emerge.

Amazon Wireless, for example, decided to make the new LTE device available for the exclusive price of $111.11 (81.5 Euros) on contract today only, to celebrate the release of the thinnest Android smartphone.

For the past few weeks, Verizon has been touting the availability of DROID RAZR for 11/11/11, and Amazon has decided to enter the game as well, with the said special deal on the new mobile phone.

Motorola DROID RAZR goes for $299.99 (220 Euros) over at Verizon upon committing to a new agreement, but early adopters can head over to Amazon's website here today to take advantage of the impressive price cut the retailer has operated to it.
