Verizon’s customers interested in the purchase of a Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD smartphone should know that the device is now available at only $99 (€74) on contract if purchased through Amazon Wireless.

The smartphone was made available for purchase on Verizon’s network in fall last year, and it has already seen a series of price cuts before, but none as steep as the new one.

The handset arrived on shelves with a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD Display on the front, and with a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor packed inside, as well as with 1GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the device sports an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for full HD video recording, as well as a front camera for making video calls.

The smartphone was launched with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich loaded on it, but it is upgradeable to Jelly Bean.
