Several days ago major retailer Amazon kicked off a 4G phone promotion that included loads of high-end devices, including the Samsung Galaxy S III, HTC EVO 4G LTE and Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

Well, it looks like the Motorola DROID RAZR 4G has just joined Amazon's sale, so customers can now purchase the smartphone for just $0.01. Check it out here.

However, the deal is only available with a new two-year agreement, so those who don't want to commit to a long-term contract will still have to pay $700 USD (570 EUR) upfront for the Motorola DROID RAZR 4G.

Additionally, Verizon subscribers eligible for upgrade can also take advantage of this promotional offer and grab the DROID RAZR 4G almost for free.

Although the smartphone only comes with rechargeable battery, charger, USB cable and quick start guide in the sales package, those interested can also purchase the optional HD Station for DROID RAZR, as well as the Lapdock 100.

The good news is that Motorola DROID RAZR 4G offered via Amazon comes with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box, so owners won't need to download and install the update themselves.

Furthermore, the smartphone comes with full support for Verizon's fast 4G LTE network, with expected download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps.

Obviously, 4G Mobile Hotspot capability is included as well, so DROID RAZR 4G owners will be able to create a Wi-Fi hotspot using a Verizon Wireless 4G LTE connection, which can then be shared among up to 8 Wi-Fi capable devices.

Other highlights of the Motorola DROID RAZR 4G include global roaming in 220 countries, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, 8-megapixel rear camera with full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as front-facing camera for video calls.
