Motorola Mobility and Verizon introduced the DROID Mini back in August, but the smartphone has only been available in black color option.

However, that’s about to change as Verizon plans to release a red-themed DROID Mini version pretty soon, according to evleaks.

Although a press render of the red DROID Mini has yet to leak online, the cited source is to be trusted when it comes to this sort of rumors.

Verizon customers can expect to receive the same features offered by the black DROID Mini, which means that the red version will also come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.7 GHz.

In addition, the smartphone is packed with a more than decent 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution, as well as an impressive 10-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.
