More goodies from Motorola Mobility have been announced, as the company just released the source code for the DROID Bionic.

Aimed at developers, the kernel source for DROID Bionic can also be used for Android fans and tinkerers who want to cook custom ROMs for the superphone.

However, it should be noted that Motorola's DROID Bionic bootloader is still locked up, which means no custom ROMs until the handset maker decides it's better to unlock the phone's bootloader.

DROID Bionic was launched on the market last month and is now exclusively available for purchase from Verizon Wireless.

Developers who still want to play with DROID Bionic's source code can download it for free here.
