Although it missed the expected December launch, Motorola DROID 4 would still be coming to users on Verizon Wireless’ network.

The handset was just spotted on the Best Buy Rewards Zone Promotion website, and audio clips for it also leaked, most probably coming from droiddoes.com.

Verizon is promoting its DROID handsets on that website and, based on what the clips that emerged over at Droid-life contain, they were meant to accompany the phone’s unveiling there.

The mobile phone was long rumored to have been set for a December launch but, with the month almost over, it’s becoming clearer and clearer that this won’t happen.

Moreover, this could fuel some of the latest rumors on the handset’s arrival, which suggested that February 2012 would be the lucky month for enthusiasts.

For the time being, users can enjoy the previously leaked images with the upcoming 4G LTE smartphone, along with the aforementioned audio clips.
