Motorola DEFY is yet another Android-based mobile phone that should make it to T-Mobile's offering in the near future, and was already listed on the carrier's website as coming soon.

The new device is capable of offering about all of the appealing features that any Android handset packs inside, while adding something extra into the mix, as it is water-resistant and dust-proof.

Measuring 2.3 x 4.2 x 0.5 inches and weighing in at 4.6 ounces, the new smartphone comes with a 1540 mAh Li-ion battery inside, expected to offer it up to 8 hours of talk time, or up to 18 days of standby time.

Of course, this is not everything about the new mobile phone, as it also comes with a large touchscreen display, as well as with a 5-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash and video recording capabilities.

With FM radio on board, the new mobile phone would also keep users entertained via its media player with support for various music and video file types.

When it comes to the connectivity specs of this device, we can count Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G capabilities, as well as 3.5mm Audio Jack, and built in GPS receiver.

Moreover, the smartphone comes with support for various applications and services, including Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar, and Google Talk as well as with access to the Android Market, from where users can download and install even more apps on their devices.

Not to mention that it can keep people connected at all times with friends and family: “Always-on access to your favorite social networking sites keeps you on top of what's happening with just about everyone you care about.”

The new Motorola DEFY was announced a few weeks ago as being on its way to T-Mobile USA, and it seems that we're getting closer to the day when the new device is put on sale.

“Now there's a phone that can keep up with your active lifestyle and your busy social life. Water-resistant and dust-proof, with Advanced MOTOBLUR to keep you up to date on all the latest happenings, the Motorola DEFY blends form and function to produce the perfect Android smartphone,” the carrier notes.

The mobile phone can be seen on the wireless carrier's website here.
