14 DAY TRIAL // Motorola’s DEFY series of rugged Android smartphones prove to be so popular that the company decided to release a new devices, the Motorola DEFY MINI XT320.
Earlier today, Motorola announced the upcoming availability of two new Android phones, the MOTOLUXE and DEFY MINI. Initially, both devices will be launched in China, as Motorola XT615 and Motorola XT320, but they are expected to go live in Europe and Latin America starting with February.
True to its promise, the company has just confirmed that the Motorola DEFY MINI XT320 is now available for purchase in China from authorized retailers across the country.
No word on the phone’s price yet, but this is tagged as an entry-level Android phone, so it should not be that expensive.
Built on the success of its predecessor, Motorola DEFY MINI XT320 is dust-proof, water-resistant and features scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass display.
The DEFY MINI XT320 is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and Motorola’s MotoSwitch UI, which allow users to switch between personal and work modes.
Furthermore, the smartphone features a decent 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 320 x 480 pixels resolution and 16 million colors.
On the inside, the DEFY MINI XT320 is equipped with a low-performance 600 MHz processor, 512 MB of ROM, 512 MB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
There’s also a 3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, as well as a secondary VGA front-facing camera for self-portraits and video chats.
