Motorola started the rollout of the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX last month, but the company inexplicably stopped the deployment of the upgrade after a few days.

Although some DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX owners have already received the update, the majority of users are still craving for the promised Jelly Bean.

Well, it looks like Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX has a new launch date as Motorola has confirmed on its official Facebook page that the update will arrive in Q1 2013.

Sadly, the US-based handset maker did not offer a specific release date, though we expect the rollout to commence one again within the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
