Motorola’s first Android-powered handset, the Cliq / Dext, has recently been reported to arrive on the market in Europe sometime in October, with a pre-order availability at Orange starting with September 22. When it comes to the US market, the phone has been expected to become available for pre-order sometime in late October, with the market availability starting with November, yet it seems users might be able to enjoy the new device a little earlier.

According to an article on BGR, T-Mobile USA might launch the device as soon as October, most probably sometime around the middle of the month. The release would be a little later than the one in Europe, yet not as late as expected before. Moreover, the handset should start shipping out to T-Mobile corporate stores on September 29, or around that date, which sustains the idea of an October launch time frame.

Until more details on the exact release day become available, you might want to take a look at the video bellow, so as to make an idea of how the device is able to perform. According to the guys over at mobilecrunch, the phone comes with a great build quality, sports a solid feel and delivers a QWERTY keyboard that can be used at ease.

In addition, the MotoBlur proves to be user friendly, and it seems that the UI of Cliq is capable of enhancing the user experience of any Android fan. The interface is quite manageable, and it also delivers integration with popular social networking sites, including Facebook, Twitter, Last.FM and others.

In a nutshell, it seems that Motorola has done all things right with its Android-based Cliq and with MotoBlur, and it remains to be seen how they will both appeal to users and what price they will sport when available on the market. For what it's worth, Cliq will certainly not cost more than $199 on a contract, yet we can always hope that recent rumors about T-Mobile having it for free will prove true.
