The smartphone is still waiting for an upgrade decision

We reported yesterday on Motorola’s decision not to upgrade DROID RAZR MAXX HD’s software any further, but it looks like the information wasn’t accurate at all.

Although the main source of the news was Motorola’s support site, VP, Product Management at Motorola Mobility Punit Soni has confirmed that the information was a typo, Phonearena reports.

In the meantime, the handset maker updates its support site and Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD is now waiting for an upgrade decision.

This means that an Android 4.3 Jelly Bean upgrade is still possible for Verizon customers who own the DROID RAZR MAXX HD.

Unfortunately, there’s no telling when exactly Motorola will announce its decision, so we can only hope that the company will offer its loyal fans the option to upgrade their favorite device in the coming weeks.
