T-Mobile users and Motorola fans will be happy to find that a new smartphone running Android is set to be launched in the near future. While the information has just leaked and it has not been confirmed by any official, the new Motorola Charm seems to be advertised as including the fresh MOTOBLUR service.

For those not in the know, the MOTOBLUR synchs all social network services such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace with all your emails, messages, texts and feeds into a single stream. Motorola MOTOBLUR series was launched a while ago and includes smartphones such as Motorola CLIQ XT, Motorola BACKFLIP and Motorola DEVOUR.

It appears the maker has serious plans with its MOTOBLUR series and decided to add a new device to its lineup. The rumored Motorola Charm features the mandatory full QWERTY keyboard, which makes the device more desirable for texting. The smartphone is set to run Android v2.1 (Eclair), but has also received an upgraded MOTOBLUR UI 1.5, which works smoothly over the operating system.

The latest version of the MOTOBLUR seems to bring much better social network services integration (such as Facebook Like and Twitter Retweet). Rumors also say that the upgraded MOTOBLUR user interface will be available on CLIQ and CLIQ XT at a later date.

While information about its hardware is scarce to the point of zero, we can see from the picture leaked that it has touch-sensitive keys and a capacitive screen with multitouch support. A camera button placed on the full QWERTY keyboard reveals the existence of such a function, which doesn't come as a surprise at all.

Motorola Charm is set to be launched through the T-Mobile network operator at a later date. The price is also a mystery and will probably be disclosed in the official announcement.
