The RAZR MAXX offers the longest talk time of any smartphone available on the market. Motorola Mobility has just introduced the said device in Saudi Arabia.

Customers can now purchase the handset for SAR 2099 (560 USD or 440 EUR) outright through selected leading retailers. No carriers have picked this one up, so Android fans should not expect the RAZR MAXX to be subsidized for the moment.

The smartphone is powered by the same ol’ Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread operating system and packs a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, which is complemented by 1GB of RAM.

Built on the success of the original Motorola RAZR, the RAZR MAXX comes with an exceptional 3300 mAh Li-Ion battery, which should provide up to 17.6 hours of talk time or up to 25 days of standby time.

Although the device embeds 16GB of internal memory, owners of the RAZR MAXX will be able to further expand storage up to 32GB via microSD card.

Design-wise, the smartphone features the same form factor and premium materials specific to the Motorola RAZR, so expect this one to last. The RAZR MAXX is made of KEVLAR fiber, Corning Gorilla Glass and splashguard coating.

Last but not least, Motorola RAZR MAXX sports a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution, as well as an enhanced 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.

Building on the RAZR heritage it combines the pinnacle of design with mind-blowing power and an incredible battery life that is perfect for people who want to push their smartphone to the limits. Whether you want to watch hours of movies, or don’t want to worry about charging between meetings, this latest smartphone from Motorola redefines boundaries and banishes the low battery beep to history,” said Raed Hafez, managing director for Motorola Mobility, Middle East & Africa.
