Motorola Mobility has just introduced two new Android smartphones in Brazil, the RAZR D1 and RAZR D3. These mid-range smartphones will be available from the company’s online sale channels beginning March 13.

In fact, Motorola confirmed the RAZR D1 would go on sale on March 13 for only $280/€215 outright, while the RAZR D3 would hit shelves in the coming weeks for $410/€315. Both smartphones will be available in white and black color options.

As we have already mentioned earlier, Motorola RAZR D1 and RAZR D3 are mid-range smartphones, though both will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

Another selling point of the phones is the fact that both offer optional dual-SIM support. Aside from that, RAZR D1 and D3 don’t stand out from other mid-range Android phones.

Motorola RAZR D1 sports a decent 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display and is powered by a 1GHz single-core processor.

The phone comes packed with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card. The RAZR D1 drains energy from a 1785 mAh Li-Ion battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.

The RAZR D3 offers slightly better features, as the phone is equipped with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory (expandable up to 32GB).

The phone also sports a larger 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display and a high-capacity 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery. It is also worth mentioning the device features Corning Gorilla Glass coating and FM Radio.

“The newest RAZR family members come with everything you expect from cutting-edge, Android 4.1-powered smartphones except the high prices. And with a guaranteed upgrades to the next Android version, they’re going to stay on the cutting edge,” said Renato Arradi, product manager, Motorola Mobility Brazil.
