Mobile phone maker Motorola has been already reported a few times before to be working on a device that will bring Google's Android operating system on AT&T's airwaves, and now the phone has made yet another appearance into the wild. The handset in question is the Motorola Backflip, which now we learn that also sports the name of Enzo.

According to the guys over at phandroid, who also published the new batch of photos with the handset, there are great chances that the phone will arrive on the market with the Backflip name all over it, though Enzo also stands. One way or the other, the strange form factor some of you might have heard about before (a keyboard that flips open) will be there.

As for the other goodies the handset should come around with, we can count a 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7201A processor, as well as 512 MB of ROM and 256 MB of RAM, a 3.1-inch display that boasts a 320 x 480 pixel (HVGA) resolution, a 5-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash, and support for GSM 850/900/1800/1900 W-CDMA 850/900/1700/1900/2100 frequencies, along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity options.

At the same time, the Motorola Backflip should also include a built-in GPS receiver, the reverse flip keyboard and a rear directional touchpad, as well as Google's Android 1.5 operating system. When it comes to the usual array of applications that any Android mobile phone comes to the market with, the news site says that only the Google Maps might be there, and that AT&T chose to put Yahoo! Search on it (that would be Microsoft's Bing, actually, if true).

The good part, however, is that the mobile phone will come with the Motorola MotoBlur solution packed inside, and that it will also offer access to a series of services form the carrier, including AT&T Navigator, AT&T Music and AT&T Mobile App store. No details on when the phone will be launched emerged for the time being, but they might in the near future, so stay tuned.
