The latest mobile phone powered by Google's Android operating system that the handset vendor Motorola is set to bring to the market is the Motorola BACKFLIP, a device already unveiled officially to the world, which is now rumored to be slated for launch in the US via AT&T as soon as March 7 is here. For what it's worth, this rumor does not come too much as a surprise, as BACKFLIP was already expected to arrive at AT&T, and the March-April launch time frame also popped up before.

However, some details on the pricing of the device emerged as well, coming from an anonymous tipster via phandroid. It seems that the wireless carrier is set to have the Motorola BACKFLIP, one of its first Android-based mobile phones, priced at $324. The price tag is said to be in range with what people were expecting to hear from Motorola and AT&T; yet, it still remains to be seen what the subsidized price tag will look like in the end.

With less than two months left before the BACKFLIP lands at AT&T, enthusiasts won't wait too much before the Motoblur goodness and that unique form factor of the device arrive in their hands. For what it's worth, the reverse-flip QWERTY keyboard of Motorola's latest Android handset is something that seems more than interesting, especially since other features and capabilities are also included in the package. This is the third Android-based device from Motorola, and is capable of impressing just as CLIQ and DROID did before it.

For those of you who might have missed previous reports on this phone, we should say that it comes with a 3.1-inch touchscreen display, a 5-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash, 3G connectivity options, 2GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi (802.11 b,g) and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity options, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a microSD memory card slot that offers support for up to 32GB of additional storage space. And there is also a 1400 mAh battery that delivers up to 6 hours of talk time or up to 315 hours of standby time.
