According to leaked photos, Motorola should release a fully touch operated device that ought to bring some level of satisfaction to fans. Also, the Attila is said to be the first device of its kind created by the American manufacturer.

There are certain features about this device that could ring a bell with many of us, as if we've seen it before. Nonetheless, Attila's abilities are worth considering and mentioning. First of all, it's got a touch tablet form, being a full touch operated phone, as already noted earlier, while its theme slightly resembles the iPhone. However, it is easy on the eyes and one could easily say that this device is only rivaling the iPhone's theme, and not copying it.

To present the features of this Motorola more thoroughly, let us start by mentioning that it's a GSM/EDGE/GPRS tri-band HSDPA, 3G connection phone, with Wi-Fi and a Qualcomm 7201A chipset. Rumors are also saying that it will run using a 528 MHz CPU, and that it will probably have a GPS system incorporated. The 2.8'' QVGA 262K TFT (240x320 pixel) display is a pretty satisfactory one, while other praiseworthy features would be the internal antenna and the 1130 mAh battery. The Attila measures 80 x 109 x 13.75mm and will probably weigh just enough for you to barely feel it in your pocket.

As noted above, it will the first device of its kind when comparing it with all other Motorola phones, simply because it will be running the 6.1 Windows Mobile Professional OS and that's definitely a first, and perhaps a plus as well for this mobile. Unfortunately, it is also the only Windows Mobile Motorola that will not be equipped with a keyboard.

The Attila has not been officially announced, so no release date and no price information are available at the moment. Still, looking at its capabilities, features and maybe design, it’s likely that each of us could probably make a more or less accurate estimation regarding these details.

This phone is rubbish. There are a lot of better phones from competitors already on the market with better capabilities. It is time to make understand that the Motorola is a dead company driven by the most awful managers in the world. Customers of this phone will be soon disappointed by poor quality of the software and hardware.

That's a pretty bold review considering you know pretty much nothing about it. Motorola's always made good to stellar hardware, often with less than good software. Windows Mobile, while not everyone's cup of tea, is a proven platform that lots of vendors sell. You're obviously full of it.

I agree. Rash you are a bit rash. I've been more satisfied with Motorola products, since the original "bricks" in 1989, than any other brand. I confess I've tried a truckload of different phones over the years but the Moto's have been by far the most rugged and easy to service. My Q9h Global has been a tough and reliable piece...much more than the Toshiba Blackjack that started "loosening-up" by the third day I used it. That said, I just got my second daughter an i-Phone for (after giving my first daughter the original version when they were introduced) and I gotta say the quality is out -freakin-standing. The interface and image leaves me speechless. If they ever develop a true business solution I'll be all over it but meanwhile I'm intrigued by the Attila.

There are a lot of better phones out there, but they are not as cheap as Moto phones. Of course, more features, more value. You'll get what you paid for. And if it's Moto, you'll get more than what you need. Motorola has been in the industry longer than any other phone manufacturers because of the their tough products. If it's a dead company, this phone will only be on blue prints.
