Motorola ATRIX HD LTE was originally slated for an August 2 release at Bell Canada, but the carrier backtracked on the previous announcement and said it would launch the smartphone on August 21.

The reason behind Bell’s decision to postpone the launch of the ATRIX HD LTE was “to ensure complete channel readiness and national product availability.”

However, the folks over at MobileSyrup report that the first Motorola ATRIX HD LTE dummy units have just started to arrive at Bell Canada.

Although this makes the launch of the smartphone almost imminent, there’s no telling whether or not the carrier plans to make it available earlier than expected.

The ATRIX HD LTE will be shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform out of the box and will be powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz.
