Unveiled back in October, the ATRIX 2 was among the top tier Motorola smartphones at that time. However, in a world of quad-core handsets, the ATRIX 2 falls into mid-range category.

Enough said, the Motorola ATRIX 2 has just been introduced in Jordan. The phone can be purchased via major retailers across the country, though no price tag has been unveiled yet.

It appears that Motorola and EA have teamed up to offer customers who pick the ATRIX 2 a free bundle that contains 10 games.

Among the titles offered by EA, Motorola ATRIX 2 owners will find Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, Need for Speed Shift, Dead Space, EA SPORTS FIFA 10, THE GAME OF LIFE, MONOPOLY, The Sims 3, Tetris, Worms and Bejeweled 2.

While everyone is looking to purchase ICS-based handsets, Motorola continues to launch smartphones that are still stuck on Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform, and with little chance of being upgraded in the future.

On the inside, Motorola ATRIX 2 is far from being impressive. The smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core TI OMAP 4430 processor, complemented by a PowerVR SGX540 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

The phone also comes with 4GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. In addition, the ATRIX 2 will be shipped with a free 8GB memory card in the sales package.

Other highlights of the handsets include a 4.3-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen display, an 8-megapixel rear camera, HSDPA (21Mbps) and HSUPA support, as well as HDMI port and Wi-Fi.

Smartphone users in Jordan crave power, versatility and style. Motorola ATRIX2 is ready to emphatically deliver on all fronts - a world-class device for work and play with incredible, entertaining content from EA Games that puts your down-time to the test,” said Raed Hafez, managing director for Motorola Mobility, Middle East & Africa.
