Mobile Phones 24 has announced that starting mid-April this year the Motorola RIZR Z8 will be available for sale in the UK. The slider phone from Motorola brings a rather unique design and has been titled the world's first kick slider handset. Due to its ergonomic design, the handset curves to the shape of the face, ensuring that the user isn't inconvenienced while talking.

Motorola's Z8 also comes packed with interesting features, including a 2.2 inch 16 million color screen with a QVGA resolution, support for high-definition video at 30 frames per second, Bluetooth with stereo headset support, 90MB of internal memory and a MicroSD card slot for extra storage space that supports memory cards of up to 4GB.

Users will be able to quickly and easily download content or browse the web due to HSDPA data transfer technology or take snapshots at any time with the help of the 2-megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom and lumi LED light.

Throw in an extra VGA camera for video calling and 3G capabilities and a stylish, highly appealing design and you'll get the Z8, a mobile phone that should be a good choice for most types of users. It may not be a multimedia powerhorse like Nokia's N95 or as popular as the iPhone, but definitely one of the phones that should prove to be a success throughout this year. Online mobile shop Mobile Phones 24 has already posted it as 'coming soon' and its customers should be able to find it for sale in the following weeks. No info regarding its price has been announced so far.
