Verizon's future Motos look pretty nice

Two of Motorola's unannounced yet phones that should be soon released by Verizon in the US, namely Motorola Blaze ZN4 and Motorola Rapture VU30, have appeared in new live images (found at PhoneArena). Both devices should bring CDMA EV-DO connectivity as well as a set of mid to high-end features.

The Blaze ZN4 seems to be an American sibling of Moto's Ming family of handsets that are currently on sale across China. The phone comes in a clamshell form factor and sports a semi-transparent flip cover that protects its internal display, which is not an ordinary one, as it's touch-enabled, representing the only way that users can interact with the handset's functions (thus the Blaze is a keypad-less device).

Motorola Blaze ZN4 is said to pack the following features: built-in GPS, advanced media capabilities, full HTML browser and a 2 Megapixel camera. The size and resolution of its display are not known, but it's highly probable that the latter is of at least 240 x 320 pixels. There is no word yet on what OS the ZN4 is running, but it should be a Montavista Linux one, similar to what the aforementioned Ming handsets have.

Like the Blaze, Motorola Rapture VU30 is also a clamshell, but this one doesn't have a touchscreen display. However, it's a phone that looks nice and should bring internal GPS, Bluetooth, a 2 Megapixel camera and so on. Basically, this might be a Blaze with a different design and sans touchscreen capabilities.

Both the Blaze ZN4 and Rapture VU30 might be on Verizon's shelves before the year's end, but there are currently no details about their prices and exact release dates.

Anyway, the bottom line is that US users will soon have two new and quite attractive handsets that they can check out. Let's hope they will both be priced decently.
