Starting today, T-Mobile’s customers in the United States can purchase the new Moto X smartphone via Motorola’s website.

The official page for the device has already been published on Motorola.com, though it lists it as out of stock for the time being.

T-Mobile’s customers interested in the purchase of Moto X will be able to choose between the Woven Black and Woven White flavors of the device, each listed as available at $599.99 (€453), contract-free.

However, chances are that the smartphone will also be put up for purchase with contract deals attached to it, just as it was at other operators in the United States.

T-Mobile, however, won’t list the smartphone on its website for the time being, and those who would like to grab it will be able to do so exclusively through Motorola.com.

Moto X is now available in the US at AT&T, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Verizon Wireless - and starting today - T-Mobile via Motorola.com,” the mobile phone maker announced in a blog post.

“Moto X is all about you and it’s all about choice. That choice includes the wireless carrier you want.”

Motorola’s latest Android-based smartphone arrives on shelves with a 4.7-inch AMOLED 720p screen and is powered by the Motorola X8 Mobile Computing System (1.7GHz Dual-Core Krait CPU, quad-core Adreno 320 GPU).

It also sports 2GB of RAM, 16GB / 32GB of internal memory, and 2 years 50 GB storage free on Google Drive. Moto X is powered by a 2200 mAh battery. It also includes 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11a/g/b/n/ac, and Bluetooth 4.0 LE + EDR.

On the back, it packs a 10-megapixel CLEAR PIXEL camera capable of recording videos in full HD resolution, while featuring a 2MP front camera for video calling.

Motorola loaded the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system on this handset, capable of providing a near-stock experience to all users.
