Following the unveiling of the new Moto X handset from Motorola, info on the smartphone’s arrival on the market has also started to emerge, suggesting that users in Europe will be left out of it, at least in the beginning.

In the press release announcing the device, Motorola stated clearly that the phone was aimed at the US, Canada, and Latin America, with no mention of Europe and other markets, and it seems that this was not on purpose.

According to Pocket-lint, Moto X won’t be launched in the UK, but other devices in the lineup will, as Motorola is considering more handsets with the same branding for the not too distant future.

“Because it is the first one, the Moto X has had a real buzz around it, but the US launch is not about the US being Motorola's priority at all, there are devices coming to Europe,” a spokesperson reportedly said.

Among the upcoming Moto X models, a certain Google Play version is also expected, The Verge suggests. However, the handset will lack the various tweaks that Motorola has packed inside the smartphone announced yesterday, it seems.
