Starting today, owners of a Moto X smartphone on the network of US Cellular can download and install the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, the carrier has officially announced.

The update is being pushed to users as software version KXA20.16-1.27, and can be downloaded over Wi-Fi connections, the operator notes in a post on its support website.

The update brings along a nice range of enhancements, including improved camera, a better phone dialer, the brand new Hangouts application, and more.

The new software version is being pushed to users over the air, which means that a notification will pop up as soon as the update is available.

To manually download the update, users will have to head over to Settings > About Phone > System Updates and follow the screen prompts to install it.
