More Moto X users out there are currently receiving the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system upgrade on their handsets, as wireless carrier T-Mobile has also started a soak test for the update.

The company confirmed plans to trial the roll out last week, and users are now receiving the new release as software version 161.44.25.

Just as expected, the update will bring not only Android 4.4.2 to these phones, but also fixes for a series of Microsoft Exchange issues, along with the option to print directly from the handset through the use of Google Cloud Print.

Moreover, the update is said to be providing users with fixes for the various Android 4.4 battery life issues that have been spotted on the Moto X lately.

As Droid-life notes, the update should arrive on handsets outside of the Motorola Feedback Network soon, so stay tuned.
