Motorola Q 9H has been first announced by the producer under the name of Moto Q Q9, which will change for its future US release. There is little to wait, if we take into consideration the fact that the producer unveiled it back in February. Now that FCC has given its approval, the smartphone should hit the market in the near future.

Moto Q 9H's more entertaining brother, the Q9M handset, has already been released in the US and is now exclusively available at Verizon Wireless. This specific device has as main qualities its evolved email messaging capabilities and a pretty strong HSDPA connection of up to 3.6 Mbps. This makes it one powerful CDMA handset capable of some performances that some networks in the US might have trouble in handling.

Rumors stated that Motorola Q 9H was supposed to be launched at AT&T by the 24th of August. Still, the device is not only receiving its FCC approval and still will long wait until actually hitting stores. The carrier is still the main one expected to bring this mobile phone to its subscribers.

Moto Q 9H is a 3G enabled smartphone that runs on Windows Mobile 6 operating system. One of the most impressive features about this device is that it has only 11.9 mm in thickness, an incredible size, when considering its capabilities. The handset has a 2 megapixel camera with digital zoom and LED photo indicator light included. Moreover, it can support up to 2GB of memory on a microSD memory slot, for making sure that the user has all the space he needs for storing personal data.

Connectivity is available through Bluetooth 2.0, EMU and USB 2.0 too. The QWERTY keboard will surely prove useful for typing all that long emails, as this device supports MMS, SMS, Instant Messaging and Windows Outlook Mobile too. The HSDPA technology takes care of the fast data transfers with other devices.

There is no official announcement on the date when Moto Q 9H should be available on the US market, although the FCC approval means that it should happen sometime soon.
