Mobile phone users in Australia interested in the purchase of a Moto G 4G smartphone will be happy to learn that the device is expected to make an official appearance in the country as soon as July 1.

The mobile phone has already emerged online in the country, on the website of online retailer The Good Guys, with a price tag of $298 (€205) attached to it.

The new handset version arrives on the market with the same looks as the original Moto G but features 4G LTE connectivity capabilities, something that the predecessor did not have to offer.

The price tag the new mobile comes with might be seen as being a bit high, yet the added connectivity capabilities should make it worth every penny.

Moto G 4G will be released in the country in Black, it seems. As Ausdroid notes, Moto E is also expected to become available in Australia on July 1, also via The Good Guys.

At the moment, those who would like to grab the 4G LTE-enabled Moto G model can head over to the retailer to pre-order it. However, they will receive their devices only starting July 1, when the phone is be put up for sale.

Moto G 4G arrives on the market with the same 4.5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering an HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution that was present on the original model.

Moreover, the smartphone features a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, along with 1GB of RAM, which should ensure pretty decent performance capabilities, considering the market segment the phone addresses to.

Moto G 4G also comes with 8GB of internal memory, as well as with a microSD memory card slot, yet another new feature when compared to the predecessor.

On the back, the new mobile phone features a 5-megapixel camera capable of recording videos in 720p resolution, complemented by a front camera for video calling while on the go.

The specs list of the new device also includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, along with Bluetooth, 3G capabilities, and a built-in GPS receiver.

Moto G 4G was announced with the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system loaded on top and should arrive on the market in Australia with the latest version of this platform. The phone is powered by a 2070mAh battery.

Those of you who would like to learn more on the new Moto G 4G and on its arrival in Australia should head over to the phone's listing at the retailer.
