The legendary hard rock band "Motley Crue", while touring Canada with "Carnival of Sins", had a gig in Red Deer, Alberta, this Wednesday at Enmax Center.
Tommy Lee, the band's drummer, famous all around the world for his off-limits acting in diverse public and private situations, had an injured wrist. After playing in many shows, a tendonitis made it more difficult for him to perform. Neither the anti-inflammatory injections, nor the wrist-brace he was supposed to wear, could do much to help him play at the concert in Alberta.
And now a "totally unknown name" makes his debut. Warren is a Canadian, working for Starbucks during daytime. At night, he plays in a band - "Broken Toyz", as a matter of fact "a tribute band" for "Motley Crue". Even though April 1st was long gone, he still thought it was a bad a joke when he was called at work and asked to play drums instead of injured Tommy Lee. But it turned out not to be a joke at all! Warren appeared on stage and everything was fine!
Would this mean that music of the 3rd millennium starts to act closer to the "Linux-style"? That is, whoever is good enough to replace an injured for example, member of a band, is free to do it? New perspectives establish liberalism in music, so it seems.
