In celebration of reaching one million downloads, as well as in anticipation of an exhibit at Macworld 2011, MotionPortrait Inc. today announces that its iOS applications are now more accessible than ever, with seven of them being available completely free of charge. Additionally, all of the company’s paid apps, which regularly cost $3 a piece, can now be purchased for just $0.99.

In a report that has just hit the wires, the Tokyo, Japan based developer announced that its iPhone and iPad applications had surpassed a total of one million downloads.

Additionally, “an ‘all iPhone apps $0.99’ campaign will be held in celebration of this milestone and the company's exhibit at Macworld 2011, held Jan. 26 through 29,” the report reads.

During the show, hosted by IDG at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California, the company will not only demonstrate its popular apps, but it will also introduce a brand new application, and one that is currently under development, the report revealed.

“All of MotionPortrait's paid apps (a total of 9 apps, regularly priced at $2.99 each) can be downloaded for only $0.99 each and 7 apps for FREE each during this campaign held Jan. 17 through 31,” the report confirms.

According to MotionPortrait, the 16 apps it has coded for the iPhone and iPad are based on the company’s proprietary MotionPortrait technology, which instantly converts a picture into 3D computer graphics and generates 3D animation.

One of its best-known apps is ZombieBooth (iTunes link), which is responsible for over 200,000 downloads.

The title has ranked #1 in the iPhone Entertainment apps category in Italy and Tunisia and continues to gain high recognition worldwide, MotionPortrait said.

“By exhibiting at Macworld 2011, MotionPortrait aims to extend the reach of its technology in the US market, the home-base for the iPhone and iPad devices,” MotionPortrait said.
