The J3400 tablet PC combines a rugged and sleek design to provide the end-user with a dual-battery configuration and an outdoor-visible LCD. It is equipped with some of the latest hardware components on the market and is capable of providing a high level of performance.

The tablet is IP-52 rated and is compliant with the MIL-STD-810F specifications, capable of withstanding a three-foot drop on plywood over concrete. The device's ruggedness is due to some unique features, including a 1.8-inch hard with extra shock protection, a shock-mounted display and HDD with DataGuard, an accelerometer, or an optional low-cost 64GB SSD for better vibration protection.
Other built-in features include a 2.0MP webcamera, smartcard and fingerprint reader, GPS and FlexDock offering support for full input/output connections, a convenient charging bay and mounting compatibility with any VESA device. The system is packed with the Intel Centrino 2 processor, offering support for the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors, an integrated WiFi Link 5300 series with 802.11 a/b/g/n connectivity, CSR BlueCore, Bluetooth 2.1 and integrated Gobi mobile broadband, extending the tablet's communication options.
