Apple has released a new version of Motion, the software application employed by video production experts to create and edit motion graphics, titling for video production and film production, and 2D and 3D compositing for visual effects.
Motion 5.0.3 is an update to Motion 5 and a recommended one at that, for all users of Motion 5, says Apple. “Motion 5.0.3 improves overall stability and performance,” according to the change log on Apple Support.
The update improves loading time for projects, performance of text editing in the Canvas, and the speed of Save Current Frame. It fixes issues with Fill Opaque enabled in images converted to Drop Zones, and resolves a stability issue that occurred when deleting all characters with the Transform Glyph tool, as well as when adjusting motion blur controls in the Project Properties Inspector.
Motion 5.0.3 further corrects the pixel aspect ratio display of Anamorphic clips and resolves a stability issue when modifying media files while Motion is running in the background. Download Motion 5.0.3
