Mortal Kombat X has just received a massive 46-minute video taken from its recent live stream that shows off not just Cassie Cage, one of the all-new fighters from the game, but also the return of the Brutality moves.

Mortal Kombat X has been hyped up for quite some time by NetherRealm as the developer has been quite forthcoming with gameplay videos, screenshots, or details about the new fighting game.

The Brutality live stream is now available for watching

After having already shared quite a few interesting new things concerning Mortal Kombat X this week, NetherRealm organized a special live stream a few hours ago and now the official recording is available as a 46-minute video.

As you can see in the footage below, things start off rather tame, as three members of NetherRealm's staff talk about one of the all-new fighters in the upcoming Mortal Kombat X, in the form of Cassie Cage, who's the daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya, two fan favorite characters.

Of course, like with all the fighters in Mortal Kombat X, she will have three different variations that not only showcase her unique fighting style but also honor the styles used by Johnny Cage and Sonya in previous Mortal Kombat titles.

The new game has over 100 Brutalities

However, the main part of the stream, which starts at around the 17:30 minute mark, deals with Brutalities. The impressive moves have been reinvented in Mortal Kombat X and there are over 100 different variations that can be pulled off by various characters in certain situations.

Like with the iconic Babalities, NetherRealm explains that players will have to pull off certain things during that specific round in order to be able to end with a Brutality. However, the attack won't do more damage or other such things, it will just look much cooler than a regular finish.

While some will be easy to perform, according to the studio, others will require more finesse and skill.

Check out the full video below and look forward to the debut of Mortal Kombat X in April on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
