14 DAY TRIAL // Earlier this week, satire website The Onion wrote a scathing editorial on CNN’s decision to make Miley Cyrus’ MTV VMAs 2013 performance their headline on the home page. They’re probably not happy now that CNN has Morgan Freeman talking about twerking.
The actor was invited on CNN’s Headline News, as the video below will confirm and, because he’s famous for his voiceovers, was asked to read some headlines from the day’s papers.
One of them was about how twerking (which is what Miley Cyrus did at the VMAs, in case you missed it), selfie, girl crush and several other terms popular in the online media, have been included in the Oxford Dictionary.
Freeman, looking slightly embarrassed (I think) also read out the definition of twerking and admitted that he had no idea such a dance existed until he did so.
