14 DAY TRIAL // Even “God” can get so tired he falls asleep during live interviews. Morgan Freeman totally dozed off during a promo interview for “Now You See Me” with the Seattle Fox affiliate, as the video above will confirm.
Michael Caine joined him for the interview, which was conducted via satellite.
At one point, Freeman is shown with his chin on his chest, clearly sleeping. He also sounds pretty tired when he answers questions directly.
Asked about the incident afterwards, Freeman reportedly joked that, “I wasn’t actually sleeping. I’m a beta tester for Google Eyelids. I was merely taking the opportunity to update my Facebook page.”
He also admitted in a way that his schedule had been so packed recently that it eventually caught up with him at the worst time.
“This business, it’s exhausting,” he said.
In “Now You See Me,” Freeman plays one of the four illusionists who orchestrate major heists and then have to find a way to flee from the FBI.
