More than 1 Million Characters Made Using the Saints Row Initiation Station

Developer Volition and publisher THQ have announced that more than 1 million unique characters have been created for the upcoming Saints Row: The Third action game using the free to use Initiation Station.

The too, which allows gamers to create their own characters using the very deep system that the game uses, has been released on the Xbox Live service and on the PlayStation Network and allows players to get a head start and spend time now developing a characters so that they can play directly when the game launches.

Kevin Kraff, who is the vice president of Global Brands at THQ, stated, “The characters we’ve seen are mostly ridiculous, often hilarious, and always over-the-top. And now there are a million of them.”

He added, “With the crazed creativity we’ve seen in only one week, we can’t wait to see what’s to come. One million is just the beginning.”

Skin colors used include green, red and silver metallic and 24 of the created characters have been given the name God by users.
