There have been lots of leaks indicating that okia and Microsoft constantly add new features to the upcoming GDR3 and Bittersweet Shimmer update for Windows Phone 8 platform.

According to WPCentral, the latest additions to the unofficial changelog include some tweaks and improvements meant to make Windows Phone devices more powerful and user friendly.

The first new feature that is likely to be included in the final version of GDR3 is support for 3 medium or 6 small live tiles for smartphones that sport capacitive touchscreen displays that have 1280 x 768 pixels resolution.

Another interesting function that hasn’t been mentioned until today is the ability to attach office files, which is one of the most requested features.

When it comes to Nokia’s Bittersweet Shimmer features, one that will surely be improved is the Glance Screen function. Apparently, users will be able to choose from 20 accent colors for the display.

These new features are rumored to arrive in the upcoming GDR3 and Bittersweet Shimmer updates in addition to what’s already known, such as support for full HD (1080p) resolution, screen rotation lock, Nokia Camera and more.
