Gearbox Software, the main developer of the recently released Aliens: Colonial Marines, has confirmed that it's working hard on many new updates and changes for the lackluster game and emphasized that it would show its love for the universe through the post-release support.

Aliens: Colonial Marines was eagerly awaited by millions of fans, but it disappointed a lot of them because of its shoddy quality and the weak gameplay.

Now, during its PAX East panel, Gearbox has revealed that more updates and changes are coming to Aliens: Colonial Marines.

The future patches will increase the AI's aggressiveness, tweak the difficulty, provide more combat feedback, and protect the save game files against corruption.

What's more, according to Kotaku, the latest update that has since gone live on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 also added support for hot fixes, which means Gearbox will be able to make smaller tweaks to the game while it's working on bigger updates.
